Already working in IT

You may already have more experience in a field than your job title says.

Job titles are terrible at describing what people can actually do. Someone who has run FortiGate firewalls, Forescout and Cisco ISE for six years has been doing network access control, segmentation, posture assessment and policy enforcement — which is cybersecurity engineering, whatever the org chart calls it.

Tick what you have genuinely worked with. We map each one to capabilities rather than to job titles, because capabilities survive a change of vendor and a change of employer.
